96 Tests PN: B511110

Components:

45x Ab-conjugated beads (S5P10 - Canine SCF Ab-bead). PN: B511110A. One vial containing 100 µL of anticanine SCF conjugated to AimPlex Bead S5P10.

25x Biotin-detection Ab (Canine SCF Biotin-dAb). PN: B511110B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anticanine SCF.

Lyophilized Standard Mix-Canine Group 1 Panel A, 10-Plex. PN: KG10010. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant IFNγ, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IL-12p40, IL-17A, MCP-1, SCF and TNFα. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying Canine SCF/MGF/KITLG.  Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Canine Group 1.  To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (PN: P100001) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Storage:  2-8 C in the dark.

Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.

For Research Use Only.  Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Description:

Stem cell factor (SCF)/mast cell growth factor (MGF) or kit ligand (Accession Q06220), like CX3CL1 can exist as both a transmembrane and soluble protein. SCF is vital to hematopoiesis (especially during embryonic development), spermatogenesis, and melanogenesis. For normal hematopoiesis, both transmembrane and soluble forms must be present. SCF is expressed by stromal cells and fibroblasts. It promotes chemotaxis, mast cell secretory function, and can aide mediators in responses to IgE-dependent activation. Diseases associated with this include hyperpigmentation and testicular non-seminomatous germ cell tumor.
