96 Tests PN: B112476
Components:
45x Ab-conjugated beads (S4P7 - Human ENA-78 Ab-bead). PN: B112470A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-Human ENA-78 conjugated to AimPlex Bead S4P7.
25x Biotin-detection Ab (S4P9 - Human Eotaxin-2 Ab-bead). PN: B112476A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-Human Eotaxin-2 conjugated to AimPlex Bead S4P9.
Lyophilized Standard Mix-Human Group 6, Panel B, 12-Plex. PN: HG62013. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant Eotaxin-2, IGFBP-1, IGFBP-7, MCP-4, MDC, MIP-1δ, MIP-3α, MIP-3β, IL-6Rα, IL-1RII, Gp130, and TNFRII. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.
Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying human CCL24/SCYA24/MPIF-2/Eotaxin-2. Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Human Group 6. To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (PN: P100001) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.
Storage: 2-8 C in the dark.
Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Description:
Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 24 (CCL24), also known as Myeloid Progenitor Inhibitory factor 2 (MPIF-2) or eosinophil chemotactic protein 2 (Eotaxin-2) and small inducible cytokine A2 (SYCA2), is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. CCL24 interacts with chemokine receptor CCR3 to induce chemotaxis in eosinophils. This chemokine is strongly chemotactic for resting T lymphocytes and slightly chemotactic for neutrophils. Elevated levels of Eotaxin-2 have been seen in patients with aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease such as asthma. People with lower plasma levels of Eotaxin-2 have not been showing tendency to develop aspirin inducible asthma.
