96 Tests PN: A111113

32 Tests PN: A111113T

Components:

45x Ab-conjugated beads (S4P7 - human GM-SCF Ab-bead).

  • 96 Tests PN: A111113A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-human GM-CSF conjugated to AimPlex Bead S4P7.

  • 32 Tests PN: A111113TA. One vial containing 35 µL of anti-human GM-CSF conjugated to AimPlex Bead S4P7.

25x Biotin-detection Ab (human GM-CSF Biotin-dAb).

  • 96 Tests PN: A111113B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anti-human GM-CSF.

  • 32 Tests PN: A111113TB. One vial containing 35 µL of biotinylated anti-human GM-CSF.

Lyophilized Standard Mix-Human Group 2 Panel A, 10-Plex.

  • 96 & 32 Tests PN: HG2009A. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant human G-CSF, GM-CSF, IFNα2, IL-1α, IL-3, IL-5, IL-7, IL-11, IL-12p40, and IL-13. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying human GM-CSF/CSF-2.  Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Human Group 2.  To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (96 Tests PN: P100001, 32 Tests) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Storage:  2-8 C in the dark.

Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.

For Research Use Only.  Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Description:

Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (Accession P04141) is a glycoprotein, acting as a cytokine produced by macrophages, NK cells, mast cells, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells. GM-CSF stimulates the production of granulocytes and monocytes and monocytes. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis have been shown to have high levels in of GM-CSF. GM-CSF has also been shown to play a role in embryonic development by functioning as an embryokine. As female and male embryos react differently to GM-CSF, it may be responsible for alterations in utero. GM-CSF is frequently used in treating leucopenia.
