25x Biotin-detection Ab (Rat IL-22 Biotin-dAb). PN: B311181B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anti-rat IL-22.

Lyophilized Standard Mix - Rat IL-22, PN: B311181S. One vial containing lyophilized IL-22.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying Rat IL-22. To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex Mouse/Rat Basic Kit (PN: P200201) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Description:

Interleukin 22 is a member of the IL10 superfamily, all of which express through cytokine receptor family class II. It is secreted by activated T and NK cells. The receptor that binds to IL-22 is expressed by non-hematopoietic cells, thus IL-22 acts as a signaling protein between lymphocytes and epithelial cells. It is also an important mediator in tissue repair and epithelial cell proliferation. Diseases associated with IL-22 expression are plaque psoriasis, Behcet’s disease, pneumonia, and asthma.
